Minnesota Bogleheads®

minnesotagroups

The Minnesota Bogleheads’ local chapter began operations in 2005 and is one of the largest chapters in the Boglehead community. The group usually meets three times a year typically in January, April, and October.

Recent meeting attendance has been from 80 to 100 attendees. Most meetings feature a plenary session on a specific financial topic followed by a half dozen or more breakout tables on other investing and financial planning topics of interest to the Boglehead Community.

The meetings are free and held in local libraries. Meeting announcements and agendas are posted on the forum about a month in advance of the meeting.

The main group has subgroups that convene in additional meetings. These subgroups include an east side group, a west side group, and a GenX/millenial group.

Meeting venues

Recent meeting places include the Hennepin County Ridgedale and Southdale libraries.

Historical meetings, information, and agendas

Meetings are announced on the Bogleheads.org website in the Local Chapters and Bogleheads Community forum.

If you are looking for information about the Minnesota Boglehead group we start each post with Minnesota BH so a search on “Minnesota BH” will bring up a list of recent meeting, agendas, and description of topics discussed.
