Bogleheads® Wiki 2019 annual report

The Bogleheads® Wiki was first created on May 13, 2008 and introduced publicly on May 21, 2008. This May marks the eleventh anniversary of this project endeavor from members of the Bogleheads Forum.

The administrators of the wiki customarily see to it that an annual report is given to the public. This year’s report: The Bogleheads Wiki 2019 annual report.

The annual report provides summary information on the number of wiki pages and wiki edits, as well as a review of the past year’s new pages and technical changes to the wiki infrastructure. The wiki currently consists of 968 pages; 20 pages were added over the past fiscal year.

Sadly, this year marked the passing of John Bogle on on January 16, 2019. Our wiki page, John Bogle forum post index. memorializes John Bogle’s posts on the Bogleheads forum.  John Bogle’s imposing legacy includes his family, the company he founded, the books he wrote, and the lives he touched.

The Bogleheads forum was in a state of mourning over a two week period.

Our non-US editors are continuing to reflect the increased readership from Bogleheads forum members outside the US, as this year’s report amply indicates.
